On Marth 5th, I went to the Uwingu.com website and named a crater on Mars. The IAU does not recognize these names yet and probably never will. But the money raised by Uwingu.com goes toward public outreach and education about space.

But the money raised by Uwingu.com goes toward public outreach and education about space. The Penny Bright Crater plays a big role in the Email From Mars trilogy. As such, I felt it needed the recognition. If you go to the Uwingu site and look at the area of The Penny Bright Crater, you will see others in the vicinity which are also mentioned in book III: Inbound.
