Galswinth: The Gavan Fletcher Chronicles

This Short Story was published some time ago and I forgot to mention it. Galswinth is a very old name as the story takes place in the year 509 A.D. Galswinth is a young beautiful princess, that Gavan has fallen in love with, while on assignment for the king of the Franks. Follow along with the Gavan Fletcher Chronicles to find out how this romance turns out.

The Solace Of Rabbits – Email From Mars III: Inbound excerpt

Turning The Page With Paige Turner

Gordoday, Libra 15, 0044

Have you ever found yourself in need of the solace of rabbits? I mean to just walk away from whatever is troubling you, find a bunch of rabbits, and have yourself a good cry?
Rabbits are good for that. They don’t judge you. In fact, they’ll probably just ignore you all together. Oh, occasionally one might hop a little closer to the edge of his enclosure and wiggle his nose at you; basically saying, “What the hell are you doing, sitting out here in the middle of the night, with your high-heels hanging from one hand and a bottle of Champaign clutched in the other?”
Otherwise, rabbits are very good company when you need to be alone with your misery. That’s where I found myself the other night: betrayed by the one person I thought I could trust; the man I thought I would wind up marrying, someday.
Instead, I now find myself working on Mars, to pay off a debt of money, honor, and principle. Lesson learned: don’t fall in love on assignment to Mars.

Instead, she highlighted the entire blog and punched the delete key. It was too bad that her personal problems couldn’t be resolved so easily.
